Open/Closed Thursday 1st March?
Dear Parents and Carers,
Thank you for your patience this morning in relation to the decision to close the school. I’m sure that you will appreciate we do not wish to close the doors to the children unless it is absolutely necessary and therefore we do intend to open the school tomorrow. Clearly if circumstances are such that this is not possible, we will inform parents and carers early in the morning. I would suggest that parents and carers should consider the possibility that the school may have to close and prepare alternative arrangements accordingly.
Please also note, that due to the current conditions, we have decided to postpone the World Book Day Celebrations until Friday. The children should come to school in their character outfits (if they have one) on Friday instead of tomorrow. Children should attend school tomorrow in normal uniform, wrapped up for the cold weather.
Please note that we had difficulty connecting to the Parentmail service this morning (which delayed delivery of our closure message) and were unable to connect to this service all day. It appears to now be working but we would suggest that in the morning you check other means of communication as per our advice on the school website just in case Parentmail is not available.
